Southern Teachers Agency provides a free resource to prospective teachers with knowledgeable, professional placement counselors guiding candidates through the competitive search process.? Hundreds of private and independent schools around the South list vacancies with STA each year beginning in January! While applications are accepted on a rolling basis, we encourage interested students to apply prior to the winter break to ensure ample time to prepare a credentials file for the peak hiring season. It is important that students begin talking with potential references and requesting letters of reference.

All active STA candidates are invited to our job fairs.? These job fairs provide an excellent opportunity for candidates to personally meet with school administrators who are trying to fill actual vacancies.? Administrators schedule interviews with candidates of interest to take place during the fair.??
