A sad story is getting sadder. The band Sugarland had a horrific accident occur at one of their shows, which caused the death of four fans and a number of other injuries. Now it appears that the lead singer may have to appear in court as part of an ongoing lawsuit. It has taken about a year for this story to come back around. Last year, the video of a massive outdoor stage rig tipping, then collapsing on top of fans went viral. The clip showed the huge metal rig slamming down onto a swarm of fans. The band was completely shocked and has been trying to keep going even in the face of such an awful tragedy. According to reports that hit today, lead singer Jennifer Nettles may have to actually testify in court as part of the ongoing litigation. The lawsuit was filed by a group of survivors and even the families of the victims who claim that Sugarland had the ultimate say in whether or not the show would go on despite bad weather.
